A Variety Show  in aid of the Tsunami Appeal  took place  on St George's Day, Saturday 23rd April 2005 in the Mountsorrel Memorial Hall.  The hall was packed to capacity, and in addition to the variety show, there was also a raffle, table quiz, auction and a bar.

Funds raised

The final total for proceeds from the variety show was £1200. All of the proceeds have been donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee for the Tsunami Relief effort, as stated in the following letter from DEC [Download DEC Letter in Adobe PDF] (89kb) dated 21st February 2005.
